Research

National Public Health Laboratory is a dedicated center under the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and Division of Health Services (DoHS) that serves as a national level referral laboratory that regulates the laboratory services in the country. Along with diagnostic facilities and laboratory-based surveillance, NPHL undertakes laboratory-based research activities promoting new evidence-based scientific research in the field of laboratory medicine and encouraging enthusiastic researchers, with a view of making this institute a pioneer in the research field as well as a center of excellence.
